The origin of our cooperative began in 1991, at which time citrus fruit producers from the southern region came together to give a greater productive and commercial boost.

Being one of the oldest cooperatives in the country, AGRISUR C.A.R.L provides our most demanding clients with fresh and innovative products, complying with all food safety regulations to guarantee the safety of our products.

AGRISUR C.A.R.L, is a shareholder of URUD’OR, a leading organization in the country for the commercialization of citrus fruits, thus becoming the largest exporting company in Uruguay, which covers more than 45% of total citrus exports.

From April to November, AGRISUR carries out the harvest of different varieties of mandarins and lemons, a total of 12,000 average tons of fruits are harvested in this period; 100% of what is harvested and exported is our own production.

International Quality

All processes are carried out based on regulations, standards and guidelines of good agricultural practices (GLOBAL GAP), this takes a responsible and vital procedure for the improvement of the long-term sustainability of agricultural production both with the environment as with harvest personnel.

Traceability

The quality control of our products begins from the moment of harvesting the fruit, where each harvest box is individualized and identified, starting there the traceability process that guarantees the quality of the export.

In the packaging line, AGRISUR selects the products, under strict quality controls, complying with the BRC standards and implementing the application of good manufacturing and food safety practices, protected by the HACCP principles (risk analysis of points critical control), thus ensuring fresh quality and authentic products.

Based on the Systems Approach and concentrated on the characteristic processes of the organization, LSQA carries out the Certification of Products and Production Processes, as well as its chain of custody, supporting companies in the development of their strengths and their areas of improvement, of so that the result is the optimization of your organizational performance.
